INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS

Journal "Central Asian Journal of Sports Anthropology and Health Science"were created on the basis of the Uzbek State University of Physical Culture and Sports and the Research Institute of Physical Culture and Sports. The main objective of the Central Asian Journal of Sports Anthropology and Exercise Science is interdisciplinary research in the field of sports anthropology and physical education. The main directions of the journal are:

  • sports anthropology;
  • sports training;
  • sports physiology;
  • sports psychology;
  • sports biomechanics;
  • sports medicine;
  • kinesiology;
  • physical activity;
  • adaptive sports;
  • sport for everyone;
  • sociology of sport and exercise;
  • tourism and recreation;
  • rehabilitation and kinesiotherapy;
  • exercise pedagogy;
  • educational programs in the field of sports and physical education;
  • public health.

The journal accepts original and review articles in the listed areas. Ethical Policy of Journal and Reviewing. The primary analysis of the presented article is carried out by the Editor-in-chief. The decision to publish an article is based on positive feedback from two reviewers, the relevance of the topic of the article, the presence of reliable results and the availability of a plagiarism test verification certificate. All articles must be approved in accordance with the recommendations of Biomedical Research Ethics Committees. The operating principle of the magazine is based on the protection of intellectual property rights. The principle of confidentiality involves the protection of personal data of authors and the text of articles (published and unpublished). The work of reviewers is aimed at helping the Editor-in-chief make decisions and helping authors improve the submitted works. Reviewers should not have a conflict of interest with the authors of the reviewed articles. Publication frequency 4 issues per year. Rules for formalization and submission of materials. To submit an article to a journal, authors must carefully read the article submission instructions.

Article title

Full names of all authors, which must be accompanied by an indication of their affiliation with a particular institution.

Abstract of no more than 350 words,

Main text

Introduction

It is required to reflects the research problem by analyzing publications (over the last 5-10 years) on the topic of the article. It is advisable to use English-language sources. As a result of the introduction, it is necessary to form a working hypothesis.

Purpose of the study

It should be brief and reflect the essence of the content of the article.

Materials and methods

The subsection should contain the following components:

Participants

Indicate the characteristics of the population being examined, including the separation into control and experimental groups (if necessary).

Procedure

Description of the methods and sequence of the study. Particular attention should be paid to the description of the devices used, indicating the manufacturer.

Ethical principles

It was necessary to indicate approval of the biomedical ethics review committee, including research methods, was conducted in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki 2008.

In addition, it should be stated whether informed consent from study participants was used.

Statistical analysis

This includes what statistical analysis methods were used and what programs were used to statistically process the study data.

Results

It is necessary to present the research results in the form of tables or figures. Present tables and figures after references in the text. Duplication of information is not allowed. The results of statistical analysis should be translated into tables and figures, indicating the reliability and number of study participants.

Tables

Tables should reflect the results of the study and be concise. Tables are arranged and numbered in the text as the results are described. Abbreviations in tables should be avoided. Tables should not duplicate figures and vice versa. The SI system must be used to display the results of statistical analysis.

Figures and Graphics

The figures should reflect the results of the study and should not duplicate the information tables. Numbering of figures in the text as the results are described. To prepare figures and graphics , it is recommended to use the editors: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, StatSoft (STATISTICA), SPSS (IBM), Minitab and others. No photographs or handwritten drawings allowed. Graphs and diagrams must fully indicate the values of the abscissa and ordinate coordinates. Legends of graphs and diagrams should be written clearly and concisely.

Discussion

Presentation of a conceptual analysis of the results obtained with a discussion of the studies of other authors. The main task is to confirm or refute the working hypothesis of the study. This section should be no less in length than the β€œResults” section.

Conclusions

Should briefly reflect the main essence of the research results, but not repeat. The main thing is that the conclusions correspond to the title of the article and the stated goal.

Acknowledgments

The article can express gratitude not only to the co-authors, but also to the technical staff who provided the research, or to other persons.

Conflict of interest

It must be stated that the authors (co-authors) have no conflict of interest.

Reference

The reference list is numbered and presented in order of citation. Design of literature sources in Vancouver style. There must be a DOI at the end of the source (if the article has a DOI). In the test, the reference is presented as: Korobeynikov et al., 2024 (if there is more than one author), or Korobeynikov 2024 (if there is one author).

Authors should avoid using references to conference abstracts, dissertations, and deposited manuscripts. Advantage to journal articles.

The editors of the journal strongly recommend the use of references to literary sources over the past 5-10 years. In addition, the use of English-language literature is recommended. When using literature in other languages, it should be indicated at the end (for example: in Ukrainian, in Uzbek).
